it took me a few days to come up with the right words - though i still feel theyre not quite enough. I dont have a memory to share because I dont know where to start. As far back as I can remember, Ive always had Uncle Skip, Aunt Cathie, & David in my life. While Skip & I didnt have an extremely close relationship, I have always had the 3 of them there to share experiences, trips, & life with.

As I’ve gotten older, Skip always made more of an effort to reach out to check on me, my husband, our kids, or my mom through me. I have always enjoyed our visits with him & his family, no matter how short or long the visit was. My kids loved him the few times they got to meet him & as we all got older, he got softer when it came to anyones kids LOL. I love that my lasting memories of him will be those of him getting to spend time with my little family.

He always made you feel cared about & loved & had an idea or advice about life or how to fix anything. I can honestly say I dont have anyone else to compare him to, as he was one of a kind ♥️
